Geering Up For 5th Annual Baby Reunion

Wednesday, July 29th, 2015

On Saturday, August 15 we will once again be hosting our annual baby reunion at Clawson Park. The event celebrates the success of fertility treatment by inviting former patients who had a baby or babies as a result of treatment with us. It allows our staff to meet their new addition(s) and for families to mingle with others who went through similar experiences. It is always a fun time!

A BBQ lunch will be served and entertainment with include glitter tattoos, rides on a trackless train, and a visit from Mickey Mouse! Due to the large number of patients that have had success through our clinic, this year we had to limit the number of people who were invited. Patients who had a baby in the past five years received and invitation.

Dr. Bradley Miller and the rest of the RMA staff is looking forward to the event!

Detroit Free Press Marathon Fundraiser

Wednesday, November 6th, 2013

The Detroit Free Press Marathon is an annual tradition for runners to participate in a showcase event in metro Detroit, MI.  Dr. Bradley Miller ran for a different purpose, one that brings clean drinking water to a community in Western Kenya known as the Pokot Tribe.

About Hope Water Project

Pokot Tribe Hope Water ProjectIn Western Kenya, the Hope Water Project is a network of trusted partners that are our “feet on the ground”. Through our Pokot-led partner organization, Pokot Outreach Ministry, we maintain deep relationships with the Pokot, thus stewarding the right knowledge and resources that are sustained through a high degree of Pokot project ownership. Our Pokot Outreach Ministry project crews not only navigate unimaginable terrain, drill wells and maintain equipment, but also assist in building flourishing communities once clean water is flowing.

Run For Charity

Sunday, September 8th, 2013

This coming October is shaping up to be very busy one for me. On the 10th I will be turning 49 and on the 15th Charla and I will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. Finally on the 20th, Charla and I plan to run the Detroit Marathon, yes that’s right, 26.2 miles over bridge into Canada and back into the US through a tunnel. You may think that this is some form of a midlife crisis but there is a purpose behind my insanity. We are part of one of the largest groups ever to run the Detroit Marathon (over 1400). Our goal is to raise over a million dollars to build wells for the Pokot Tribe in Northern Kenya.

In this remote area of Africa, they have no access to clean water. Every day the women walk over 5 miles one-way to bring back contaminated water which is slowly killing them one way or another. In fact there is over 25,000 children throughout the world that die each day due to diseases related to lack of clean water.

I am humbly asking you to assist me by being one of my sponsors. My personal goal is to raise over $2000. There is no donation that is too small and all donations are 100% tax deductible. In addition I am going to match every donation dollar for dollar. You can donate online at the link provided below or you can send a check to the Hope Water Project at the address listed below. Please include my name in the memo line of your donation.

There are about 1 million Pokots in Kenya.  Julius Murgor established the Pokot Outreach Ministry (POM).  He has a 10 year relationship with Kensington Community Church.  Their mission is to provide clean water for all the Pokots, along with medical aid, education, orphan care, and ministry.  40+ wells have already been built with 20+ new wells being planned.

The goal is to provide clean water for an entire village.  The result will be lives saved, better health, the ability to raise crops, leading to education, family, community, faith, and prosperity.  100% of the money raised is going towards the building of this well.
